The idea of a Convertible Car Club, no matter what breed, grew from a need to connect with like-minded people in similar situations to our own … home based business people, working hard, not taking time out. The Noosa News embraced the idea of The Club and put it on the Front Page on Friday June 6, 2008, and the rest as they say … is history. Our first members forged through the doors on June 19, 2008, became the best of friends and The “NCCC” has grown steadily since then to 30 active paid up members in just 2 short years. Anyone who has a convertible and loves the machine and the road can join … young and old … new and old cars … and it’s local. The runs are set for the last Sunday every month, it’s a healthy mix of a beautiful run in the car, a coffee stop along the way, a destination of restaurant for lunch or bar-b-que or picnic … inland or by the sea … to places many of us have yet to find and explore, all in the fun of a Convertible Convoy!! We’d love to have you join us … they are a great group of people … bonded by the love of the vehicle and the open road … so take a look at where we’ve been… and where we plan to go in the future … remember … Life’s an Adventure … so make a decision to come on board … and enjoy the ride!! |
